Maybe you've read about attachment theory, you've identified your attachment style, and you've seen how attachment affects your life. With this meditation, you can practice actually embodying the traits of secure attachment. By doing this you will become familiar with how it feels acting from a place of security so you can recognize it in daily life. And you will cultivate these traits in yourself so you can draw on them whenever you need.

Attachment is an innate evolutionary drive in all of us. In childhood we seek attachment with parent figures, and we continue to be in attachment relationships throughout our lives. By visualizing the traits of secure attachment and seeing ourselves embody them we can grow into secure attachment figures, for our own happiness and of those around us.

We do some metacognitive exercises to reflect on things go much better when we are in this mode, and some visualisations to reinforce these qualities. We also do some exercises on Executive Function and exploration.
