Join us for this workshop where we will develop compassion by using a traditional Buddhist Meditation practice (Tong Len). Then we will identify aspects of self and other that we don't like. Then in guided meditation we will first develop compassion towards those aspects. Moreover, we'll investigate the difficult experiences that have contributed to these issues/aspetcs.
The intended outcome is more compassion towards self and other and more understanding of causal factors that have contributed to these aspects that we don't like about self or other. We will see the impersonal and causal nature of these aspects and even our own dislike of them.
This program is for people who struggle with acceptance of self and other. Said differently, we'll start working through that which is aversive.
